Measure from the bottom of the tank to the top of tank mounting threads. Subtract
the distance for clearance between the PMA and the bottom of the tank (6" [152
mm] recommended). This is the length to which the pump should be extracted,
measured from the bottom of the riser threads to the bottom of the motor end bell.
EXAMPLE:
Tank + thread measurement
96" (2,438 mm)
Distance from bottom (5" [127 mm]) + riser thread engagement (1" [25 mm])
-6" (-152 mm)
= Length (bottom of riser to end bell)
90" (2,286 mm)
