Operation
Monitoring for a corrosive environment
within a tank ullage space
The CDS can be installed in the ullage space
of tanks or in dispenser or STP sumps. The
intrinsically safe sensor utilizes an included quick
disconnect cable to wire to any EVO™ Series console
via the probe module (EVO™ 550/5000, EVO™
600/6000) or any Intrinsically Safe (IS) channel
(EVO™ 200 /400 and EVO™ ONE). The sensor utilizes
a sacrificial metal screen which is used to detect the
formation of corrosion. This screen can be removed
and replaced upon the formation of corrosion.
